Here all the new changes since the last time

Changes:

• Whitelist xiaohongshu
• Allow Weibo images direct url
• Redesign pagination on mobile to make it more visible
• Redesign the article page
  • Move the button to edit an article
  • Move the button to delete an article
  • Move the button for going down to articles
  • Change wording for "조회수"
  • Reorder buttons "신고", "추천", "스크랩"
  • Make code author more visibile on mobile
  • Add button for going up to articles
  • Button "목록" bring you back to the article list page and not "back" anymore
• Fix beegle pagination
• Fix beegle invisible buttons on safari
• Fix a bug on the counter of comments were deleted comment was counting as 2. If a comment had 3 comments it will have a comment counter equal at 3 but if a user delete a comment the comment counter was doing 3-2 instead of 3-1
• Fix images in comment. The url associatied to the image a wasn't valid one.
• Allow "tva1" weibo's url for images
• Create "Cake Day party"
• Add a "Cake Day party" alert
• Add "Gift" button
• Add a gift collection in user's profile
• Add 2 stickers :
  • Cake day sticker
  • Piece of cake day sticker
• Add notification for receiving a sticker
• Whitelist dailymail embedding

Cake Day party ? Gift ? Stickers ?

I had this idea since a long time, but never found the good moment to make it. Every time I wanted to thanks each of you for registering on Beegall and being active even if the website isn't perfect but I didn't know how to do it.

I finally wanted to celebrate your "beegall birthday" which will be the day of your registration on Beegall. From now every year you will have your Cake Day party, starting at midnight of the first day and ending at midnight of the other day. You will receive a "Cake Day" sticker that you can't share but you can see it every time you want in your "gift collection" on your profile and you will also receive 4 pieces of cake that you can share with someone who you like the comment or the article. But becareful, you can keep your pieces only for a day or they will be rotten, so share them with someone and they will last forever.

For example, today is my birthday party. I receive one Cake day sticker and 4 pieces of cake. I'm browsing beegall as usual and someone post an article with a really good quality (photos of developer 😍). I like it so much that I want to thanks the author for this post and I want to show him/her how much I liked it, so for this I will give him/her a piece of cake sticker. Everyone will be able to see that this post received a sticker. Then I keep browsing on Beegall, and I see a very funny gif of developer. It make me laugh so much that I want to give a piece of cake to the author too. The sticker will then appear on the comment.

Don't worry, it's still anonymous. Nobody will see your stickers collection, nobody will know who gave the sticker and nobody will know who is having a Cake Day Party.

Today I will give 1 piece of cake to everyone.

Next focus

• Add korean translation for stickers and cake day party
• Rework beegle. Beegle's skin was forgotten by developer and it need a serious rework for keep fooling beegall's user and let them try to do their google search on beegle 😈
• Fix bugs on the search
• redesign profile's page

Update will be less common than august because I have lot of work for the end of the year but I will try to keep doing one update every month. Also I will start adding less features and focusing more on redesigning Beegall for being easier to use and also for making it prettier. So please don't worry if you see less update, I'm not going to disappear.

The cake day party is just the beginning of the gift/sticker's feature. I think it will be a very funny and interesting feature.

I will explain more about it when I will add more stickers. I think some of you already guessed it but don't worry nothing bad is coming.
