[DEVELOPER] Beegall and Sngall close on 18th - 19th November
Bonjour !
Beegall and Sngall are going to be close on 18th November on saturday at 6pm in korea (10 am in France) and should be back before 19th November 11pm in korea (3pm in france). Maybe it will be close only on Saturday but I will make a post when it's open again.
So if you see the website up but no post from me saying "it's open again" I won't recommend to post anything because it could disappear.
Why ?
I will migrate the actual server to a smaller one.
I've been always transparent with you so I will keep being. Actually the server cost me 80e per month because I took a big server at the beginning cause we had a very big load of users. After a year, the number use get down but I didn't change the server because I was lazy and Beegall/Sngall were heavy website because of a bad code base so it asked more ressource than it should.
Nowadays the price of the server keep increasing, the food too, the bills too, and my pay doesn't ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I was earning between 0 to 20e per month with the ads but since somes months I earn 0 from it.
I'm not looking to become rich from it. Even if I would love to be able to work fulltime on my project. I will never be evil for money.
I don't want and I don't plan to shutdown Beegall/Sngall because I love them but I need to be smarter and save money. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I have done an update in october for a better code base and reducing the resources needed for using Beegall/Sngall. Thanks to it we are now using less than 5% of the server capacity.
So, I can now take a smaller server which will cost me 12e per month. Which is a big save ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
What does that change for you ? Nothing. The server won't be slower and if we got bigger and it start to get slow I will upgrade the server little by little. I'm now smarter ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
There is almost no risk to lose your data, less than 1% chance. But I close the website for 2 days because I wan't to take my time on it for not doing any mistake. So don't worry you can keep posting and comment, you won't lose anything

대충 요약: 갤 코드를 효율화 했더니 사이트가 훨씬 가벼워져서 지금 지불 중인 서버 용량의 5%만 사용하게 됨. 그래서 기왕 1년 전부터 이유를 알 수 없게 광고비도 안 들어오고 서버비도 인상된 김에 과도하게 크지 않은 적당한 서버로 바꿔서 서버비를 절약하려고 함. 갤을 사랑하기에 닫을 생각은 없고 단지 효율적이고 똑똑하게 운영하려고 하는 것임. 만약 추후에 방문자 수가 증가하고 더 큰 서버 사양이 필요하게 되면 그때 조금씩 증가시키려고 함. 이제 노하우가 생겼다고 함 (샢에도 올림)

I already commented above but forgot to mention this. As for the visitor decrease situation, I personally think that the ongoing search engine exposure and internal search error are not doing any good.😢 I don't know what is causing this but I often find that so many of our articles just never ever get exposed to the search engine, or only their titles/images do and never the text body, which should normally be the greatest source of keyword exposure.😭 Also, the internal search can only search keywords in titles, unless the articles have been motified. One of the most mysterious errors I have ever seen. Anyhow, if you need any help that a lay-person user can offer to solve this, I am here!
